Got our 'Sea legs' on...

Well - three days of relaxing at Cape Hillsborough leading up to 3 days of relaxing on a Tall Ship - sailing around the Whitsunday Islands. Could be worse...

We enjoyed our time at Cape Hillsborough. Definitely we can recommend the campsite to any who are travelling around Queesland. We have been here during the Australian national election where the ruling party (the Coalition) have been tossed out of power after 11 years and the Labour party has come to power. Since our TV reception is definitely limited - we have only been able to watch election reports for the past few days - so its a good things that the campsite had so much more to offer so we weren't dependant on the TV for entertainment.

Now we are at Arlie Beach, waiting on being picked up this afternoon where we will board the ship and begin the cruise. Not due to be back till Friday afternoon - so we shall not be blogging anything till then.

Hi Lei and Karen--
I turn green with envy every time I look at you two galavanting around Australia; well, not literally, of course, because I am delighted that you both are having such a great time(despite van problems!). Work has kept me snowed under (naturally, but worst this term), and on Friday Lorna had an accident at school but she is OK now, minus one front tooth. Just the usual manic and exhausting life I lead... Could DEFINITELY use some of your delightful r&r. Hope you continue to bake, feed wallabies and generally have a great time! Our home address: Rosebank Villa, Victoria St, Rattray, Blairgowrie PH10 7AG.
Much, much love, M&L&L

HI--especially Lei, and Mary M, "Logger"...
and any other ole Mitten Bay GS group.!!!

ME? "Sinker Swim"... Elsie Hoff forwarded your info to me, that she received via Martha Kellom.

"Puters and Internet" are wonderful!!
Briefly..
I retired from Both Nursing, and Psychotherapy Licenses in 2007. Moved from a Trailer Park in Canton, MI, where Cathy Vickers also lived...long story there!!!

Divorced in 1984: Leroy remarried...and "passed" 2009.

I increased my degrees (BSN & MA-LLP). Followed my careers where ever I found employment...since the Health Care field went thru a LOT of phases....

Now I'm back in Saginaw; 75 years old. grey haired, walk with a cane, HAPPY, grateful for 2 new knees! It takes some B/P meds and some pain meds to keep perking along...finally much slower and quieter.

I enjoy local Catholic Parish Life Nuther long story! --I'm back in group and teaching roles...at a much slower pace!!!

I'm in process of moving to a SR. Living place. My kids and grandkids are in PA; NJ: and NC...
long stories (pleasant!) re them.

Elsie and I see each other occasionally. I've just been sorting ole pictures, and have seen ole memories you-us / GS days. Which makes reading Lei's letter and Blog a fantastic event!

Nuff for now..
feel free to email me:

I'm a daily computer buff...I even use a DROID!

Love and Prayers for you all!!
